{ENCHANTED FOREST} wedding!
Sarah and Mickey got married on a boat in the afternoon on Sunday August 22!
They asked me to do their wedding deco's because I like making inside look like outsides! Working at Stonefly where the reception was held, and all their amazing helpers made it easy!
We turned Stonefly into an ENCHANTED FOREST with crepe paper, cloth and recycled packaging!
It took a long time, but we covered all the pre-existing artwork and hung a photobooth!
Plus freehand painted trees on the all windows!
The trees on the windows looked different in all kinds of light!
But it was the best at night!
A vision complete!
But the most beautiful thing at the wedding was, of course, SARAH!

LOOK NOOK! is participating in a handful of amazing things around town in the next month!
EVERY SATURDAY!
Beans and Barley hosts the East Side Green Market from 10am-2pm, where you will find loads of amazing artists, affordable and fresh organic produce and new music every week! The sink hole has created a tiny moat around the castle yard, but you don't have to swim through it!

RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR in Chicago!
Madam Chino and partner in crime Owl Eyes are doing RENEGADE CHICAGO. If you haven't been, I suggest taking your staycation in the Midwest with a roundtrip train ticket to ChiTown.
all of Division Street, between Damen and Paulina, will be chock full of incredible handmade goods made by over 300 craftspeople from all over the nation, crafting workshops + demonstrations, live music + other features!
SATURDAY and SUNDAY OCTOBER 2nd and 3rd NOON-5pm
River West Artwalk Exhibit will be coordinated by LOOK NOOK at STONEFLY and we are looking for a variety of local artists to put up works both large and small! More details to arrive shortly. Please contact me via this blog, facebook or email at madamchino@yahoo.com if you are interested.
